We have purchased the product but we never received the WAP PUSH for the installation. What is the reason?

Your mobile phone is not set to receive WAP PUSH messages. Go to your message settings:

For Nokia:
Message settings Menu: SMS - MMS - EMAIL - Service Messages.
Go to service messages option and set the service messages to "allow" or "on".
Set the Installation option to "manual"
From the MMS settings: turn "on" the allow ads option.

For Sony Ericsson:
Message Settings Menu: Go to the SMS - MMS - EMAIL - WAP PUSH section set the "allow" option to "always".
Set the Message senders section to "All senders".
From the MMS settings at the Allow Messages section choose "Ads" and "Anonim".

I want to download the demo version of the Athan Application but I get the message "You have already made a request to download the application from this panel. For this reason you will not receive the 'WAP PUSH' message". What can I do?

If you have already downloaded via WAP PUSH and you want to download again, you can download via WAP from Athantime.com website or from the "From Computer to mobile phone" option you can download the application to your computer then by using Bluetooth or cable you can transfer the application to your mobile phone. Before completing these steps please do not forget to check the "application compatible phone list".

I have downloaded the Athan Program to my mobile phone, but the Alert does not work when it's prayer time. What is the problem?

Please primarily open the application and check if your sound options are set, from the options select the "Set&Exit" option to turn off the application. Choose "Yes" at the "start the application automatically when it's prayer time" option. If the application asks to restart when the prayer time arrives, this message is about the system version of your mobile phone. Choose "hide" when the above message pops up. For more information please contact our customer service.

There is a One hour difference between the application's clock and the phone's clock. What can I do?

Primarily close the program, from the clock settings of your phone choose "close" from the "Summer Clock" option. If there is a "GMT" option for Turkey set +02:00. (GMT is different for other countries) Open the application and set the summer clock to automatic.

What is the difference between the demo/trial version and full version of the application?

The demo version is developed for you to explore the application, learn about it's options and see how it works on your mobile phone. You are only alerted at the noon ATHAN.

I have installed the Athan Application to my mobile phone but I cannot hear the alerts. What is the problem?

Please make sure that your phone is NOT on SILENT. Check if you can hear the Listen to Athan option. From the "settings" option, check the "volume level option" and press the "Listen" option. If there is no sound turn your phone off and then back on.

I could not find the other cities from the "Country - City" option. What should I do?

Go to Settings and press the "Country - City" option. Choose "Custom Location" option. Select "No" from the use location option. Re-enter the Country option and press the Cities button. When you are on the Istanbul section, press the center button to see the cities list. On several models, the cities can be navigated with the left/right buttons.

The city that I am located is not on the list. What can I do?

Go to Settings select the set private location option. After you choose "yes" from the "use location" option, enter the coordinates of your location basing the example on the application. If you cannot find the coordinates of your location please send an email to help@athantime.com.

Even though I have set the "Country - City" settings, my location is not changed on the application. What should I do?

Please go to "Custom location" in the "Country - City" settings. Choose "no" from the "Use this" option. Then enter the "Country - City" section to set your city.

I cannot open the application. There is only a message that says "Choose" - "Turkish". What should I do?

When you start the program for the first time, you have to choose a language. To complete the transaction, an SMS will be sent by the application to the system and the user continues to the Settings section.

Why is my phone not on the "compatible phones" list? What should I do?

If you think that your mobile phone supports the applications, then download the demo version on to your phone and try if the application works. If it does then please report to us that the application works on that particular model for us to add the model on our "compatible phones" list.

Why do I need a connection when I enter "Islamic Products" section?

From these sections you can connect to wap pages and obtain more information on how to download the applications, wallpapers, ringtones.

I have established a connection through the download message but I get the "your mobile phone does not have the features to start the application" message. Am I charged?

In this situation, there will be no content charge.

I want to hear Melody when it's prayer time. How can I do it?

Enter the "Athan - Melody" option in the Settings section and choose "Melody".

I used the "Send to Friend" option but demo version was downloaded on his/her phone. Why?

The "Send to Friend" option is designed to recommend the program to your friends. The demo version is sent just to demonstrate the application.
16- How can I modify the prayer times that I want to be alerted?
Press the "Notifications" option in Settings and pick the prayer times when you want to be alerted.

What is the "Qibla Time" in the "prayers" section?

On the Qibla time, if you face the Sun, you will be oriented to the Qibla direction.

How do I use the "Direction of Mecca - Sun" ?

Please go to the "Direction of Mecca - Sun" menu on your phone. By rotating your phone, place the shadow line parallel to your own shadow or an object's shadow. The direction of Qibla is the picture of the Kaba on the shadow line picture.

My phone does not notify me when it's prayer time. Why?

On some phone models "automatic start" or "run in the background" options are not supported. The application needs to be open at all times to be notified at the prayer times.

Is it possible to transfer the full version of the application by downloading on the computer?

The full version of the Athan application can be downloaded via WAP. There is no other way to download the application.

There were extra credits charged while downloading the application. Why?

Every melody, video, picture, game etc has a GPRS charge by the GSM operator. This situation is not related to the content/ application provider.

I cannot listen the Athan in complete, why?

Because of the compatibility problem on certain phone models, this phones support the short version of the application.
